In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top-down games category on the Android platform in Mexico saw significant activity, led by Clash Royale. Data from Sensor Tower reveals interesting trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top five games in this category.

Clash Royale from Supercell experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $57K in the final week of December. Weekly downloads surged mid-quarter, reaching 256K in the week of December 20. The game also saw a steady rise in weekly active users, starting from 4.3M at the beginning of October and climbing to 7.7M by the end of December.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Moonton showed a fluctuating weekly revenue trend, peaking at around $33K in the last week of December. The game’s weekly downloads started strong at 225K at the end of September but saw a decline, finishing the quarter with 22K. Weekly active users also showed a decrease, starting at 290K and ending at 223K.

Brawl Stars, another Supercell title, had a steady performance in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $37K in the last week of December. Weekly downloads saw a significant jump towards the end of the quarter, reaching 83K in the final week. The game’s weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting from 1.05M and ending at 935K.

League of Legends: Wild Rift from Riot Games, Inc. experienced a gradual increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $22K in the week of December 20. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a peak of 18K in early November. The game’s weekly active users consistently grew, reaching 194K by the end of November and maintaining around 173K by the end of December.

Pokémon UNITE from The Pokémon Company showed a downward trend in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $28K in late September and declining to $9.9K by the end of December. Weekly downloads also witnessed a significant drop, from 332K at the end of September to 24K in late December. The game’s weekly active users decreased from 1M at the start of the quarter to 151K by the end.
